We are committed to helping each other grow in our relationship with Jesus and deepening our connection with the Lord.
Whether you are looking for an opportunity to worship or a place to find fellowship, we welcome you with open arms.

Crossroads Ministries cares about one thing more than anything else, Jesus Christ. Crossroads is a family of individuals that have found hope and joy in Jesus, and simply want as many people as possible to experience that exact same feeling.
Founded in 1943 on donated ground by the Pittsburgh Coal Company, Library Conservative Baptist Church came to be. Missionary Edna Long was employed by the Pittsburgh Coal Company to meet the spiritual needs of the people in Library, PA who were working in the mines. The congregation was known as the Library Community Mission. Pastor John Arnold was called to pastor the church in October of 1968. When the church outgrew the building, the congregation built a new church building in Finleyville in April of 1972. Today, Crossroads Ministries carries the same mission that started long ago. To bring people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
At Crossroads, we’re all about helping people grow closer to Jesus. We believe everyone has a next step to take, regardless of where they’re starting from. As we move forward together, we’re dedicated to being a church family where everyone truly belongs and feels included.
Whatever your faith journey looks like, you belong at Crossroads.
We invite you to explore our beliefs and join us in our pursuit of living out our faith in boldness and passion.
We believe in the Bible of the Old and New Testaments as verbally inspired of God and inerrant in the original writings. We believe that this inspiration extends equally and fully to all parts of the Bible, and that they are the supreme and final authority in faith and life. (II Timothy 3:16, II Peter 1:21)
We believe in one God eternally existing in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, each having precisely the same nature, attributes, and perfections, and worthy of the same worship and obedience. (Matthew 28:19-20, John 1:1-4)
We believe that Jesus Christ is true God and true man. He was eternally begotten of the Father, conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary. We believe that Jesus Christ is impeccable and unchanging.
(Colossians 1:16-17, Hebrews 4:15)
We believe That the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins as a substitutionary sacrifice, that His crucified body was raised from the dead and that He ascended into heaven to appear before the Father as our High Priest, Advocate, and Mediator.
(I Timothy 2:5. I Peter 1:18-20, I Corinthians 15:1-3)
We believe that the Holy Spirit took up His abode in the world in a special sense on the Day of Pentecost, dwells in every believer and by His baptism unites all Christians in one Body, the Church universal. In this age, the Holy Spirit carries out the ministries of restraining evil in the world, convicting people of sin, righteousness, and judgment, regenerating all believers, indwelling and anointing all Christians, and sealing them unto the day of redemption, baptizing into one body of Christ all who are saved, and filling each yielded believer for power and service.
(John 14:16-17,;16:7-15, I Corinthians 6:19;12:28-30; 13:8, Ephesians 2:22, II Thessalonians 2:7)
We believe that man was created in the image of God, that he sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death and that all human beings, the man Christ Jesus alone excepted, are born with a sinful nature, are totally depraved, and need to be born again. (Romans 5:12, John 3:3-7)
We believe that salvation was accomplished solely by the finished work of Christ shedding His blood upon the cross, and that nothing on the part of man can avail for salvation. We believe that salvation was provided for the whole world, and that whoever believes in Jesus Christ receives the new birth, becomes a partaker of the divine nature, and thus becomes a child of God, once for all, forever.
(John 3:16;10:27-30, Ephesians 2:8-9)
We believe that the Church universal consists of all those who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, are redeemed through His blood, and are born again of the Holy Spirit. Christ is the head of the Church, called His body. The local church is a body of believers in Christ who are joined together under recognized Scriptural leadership for the worship of God, for edification through the Word of God, for prayer, fellowship, the proclamation of the gospel, and observance of the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper (Matthew 16:16-18, Acts 2:42-47, Romans 12:5, I Corinthians 12:13, II Corinthians 6:14, I Timothy 3:15, Ephesians 1:20-23, Philippians 1:1)
We believe in “that blessed hope”, the personal, pre-millennial, and imminent return of Jesus Christ, in the bodily resurrection of the just and unjust, in the reward and everlasting conscious blessedness of the just, and in the judgment and everlasting conscious punishment of the lost. (I Thessalonians 4:13-18, Revelation 20:1-15; 21:1-8, Luke 16:19-26)
We are committed to living out the values of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to love God, love others, and share the good news of Jesus Christ.
