Frequently Asked Questions

  • How often do I need to serve?

Serving schedules vary by ministry, but most teams serve on a rotating basis. Many volunteers serve once or twice a month, while others choose to serve more frequently. We'll work with your availability to find a schedule that fits your lifestyle.

  • Do I need to be a member?

No. You do not need to be a member to begin serving in many ministry areas. Some leadership or specialized roles may have additional requirements, but we'd love to help you find a place to get involved regardless of where you are in your faith journey.

  • Can I serve with my family?

Absolutely! Many serving opportunities allow families to serve together. Serving as a family is a great way to grow in faith, build relationships, and make a difference together. Let us know you're interested, and we'll help you find a good fit.

  • What if I don't know where I fit?

That's okay—many people aren't sure where to start. After you complete the interest form, we'll connect you with a ministry leader who can learn more about your gifts, interests, and availability and help you discover the best place to serve.

  • Is training provided?

Yes. We want every volunteer to feel confident and prepared. Most ministries provide training, resources, and ongoing support to help you succeed in your role. No experience is required for many serving opportunities.

  • What ministries need volunteers right now?

Our volunteer needs change throughout the year, but there are often opportunities available in areas such as:

    • Guest Services
    • Kids Ministry
    • Student Ministry
    • Worship & Production
    • Creative Media
    • Food Ministry
    • Special Events

Complete the interest form, and we'll help you find an area where your gifts can make the greatest impact.

  • Do I need clearances to volunteer?

Most serving opportunities do not require clearances. However, to help provide a safe environment for children and students, volunteers serving in Kids Ministry and Youth Ministry are required to obtain the appropriate clearances. Our team will help you every step of the way.

  • What if I can only serve occasionally?

That's okay! We understand that schedules vary. Whether you can serve weekly, monthly, or just for special events, we'd love to help you find a serving opportunity that works for you.
